![]() Dean and Allie have both proven that they’re very intriguing characters. I also loved the dual points of view in The Score. There are a lot of emotions are portrayed in this book. And as there are a lot of emotions in this book, there are also steamy ‘n’ kinky sex scenes portrayed as well. You do not need to read the other books to understand what goes on in The Score since each book is their own, but it would help if you really want to understand this world. The Score is the 3rd book in the Off-Campus saga (4 book series). I decided to review the entire trilogy in one post, as they are very similar and basically tell one big tale of one group of protagonists. Titles: Book 1: Hard Magic, Book 2: Spellbound, Book 3 Warbound I share my listening time between audiobooks and podcasts, and I have other sources than Audible, so I only buy credits for a few months each year… but I ended up buying the entire trilogy, and some other stuff as well, including Rotherweird books recommended by Chris, also great but not a topic of this review. I remembered I read about Correia at Bookstooge’s, and I decided to go for the first volume, and delay cancelling. VIXEN closed on a high note – which I am happy to say. For example, how many times have to felt suffocated by your circumstances and wanted to break away to become your own person – like Gloria? How many times have you tried to repent and redeem what goodness you had left to become a better person than you were, to start fresh – like Clara? Can you count the times that you whined then plotted because the grass looked greener on someone else lawn – like Lorraine? I thought to mention how no matter what era we live in, doesn’t it same like we, as people and individuals, live the same problems continuously. But I’m glad I was allowed to be a part of First Look: VIXEN.
